Life-threatening medical emergencies can occur anytime and to anyone in the dental office. Every dental office must understand the role of the dental team in successfully addressing these emergencies.  Office preparation begins with an understanding of the mandated drugs and equipment as promulgated by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry.  This overview on medical emergencies in the dental office by Dr. Morton Rosenberg will also include a review of the diagnosis and immediate treatment of minor and major medical emergencies.
